twitter on abc 7 news from breaking news updates. turning to other news of the day the jobless rate has fall @ but job the labor department says the rate fell to 7.4% in july the lowest level since december, 2008. however, employers added just 162,000 jobs. lowest since march. many jobs are lower paying part time work at stores restaurants and bars. experts say businesses may be cautious about hiring because of the economy's slow growth. >> first people purchasing facebook stock can say they made money. facebook today closed at $38.05 a share, five cents more than initial public offering price. at the lowest point stock dropped to $17.55 a share but ad revenue boosted earnings this year. result as announced last week. >> the former test engineer

who shot and killed three managers at a tech firm was sentenced to life in prison today without possibility of parole. he is now 52, entered and killed a company's ceo, vice president of operations, and a human resources manager. the jury found wu guilty of three counts of first degree murder reree jekting insanity plea. wu had been laid off from the firm when this happened. his sentence today, life in prison. former alameda county supreme court -- superior court judge who bill beinged a neighbor will only face five years probation. through a plea deal the 58-year-old avoided what may have been a very lengthy prison term. he was accused of stealing money from his elderly neighbor and netting over 13 years. under this plea deal he will be barred from holding
